The Elizabeth River Project officially opened Paradise Creek Nature Park to the public in June 2013 with partners City of Portsmouth and Virginia Port Authority. Now you can experience the FUN with NEW family activities! Explore the full list of education programs, or stop by anytime to enjoy our 2 miles of trails around the new wetland and through the restored forest. This unusual park celebrates citizens, businesses, and government, working together to restore an urban river.
