Witness the fall migration of waterfowl as you explore the upper reaches of Morgan Creek, a major tributary of the Chester River. The creek is lined with lush marshes that provide ample food for geese and ducks, as well as prime habitat for a wide variety of songbirds. Morgan Creek's forested shorelines also provide prime habitat for blue herons and bald eagles.

Sultana Education Foundation's public paddles are a great way to explore the shallow creeks, streams, and rivers that flow to our nation’s largest estuary. During a typical voyage, participants paddle through scenic, undeveloped portions of one of the Bay’s tidal tributaries while learning about the flora and fauna that make the region so unique. Kayak programs take place on the National Park Service’s Captain John Smith Chesapeake National Historic Trail and were established with the support of the National Park Service’s Chesapeake Bay Gateways office. Kayaks are provided so all you need to bring is water, a snack, and your binoculars! No children under 12.
