Spring rains fill temporary wetlands, known as vernal pools, that amphibians love!
Join the Lancaster Conservancy naturalists for an exploration of the frogs, toads, and salamanders who use the wetlands at Conoy Wetlands for breeding. Take a short hike off-trail that will require a little bush whacking. Hopefully you’ll get to see and hear a number of different amphibians calling. This is an easy hike, recommended for ages 8+; please bring boots. March 19, 6 p.m. to 8 p.m.; Conoy Wetlands Nature Preserve, Bainbridge, PA.
