Enjoy an afternoon and full moon evening of paddling, talking circles, a native-american themed observance, a silent auction for used kayaks, storytelling, potluck dishes, drumming, and bonfire.
As the summer 2019 season winds down, please join us for an annual celebration of the river, community and sacred water. We have planned an enjoyable day outdoors and next to the river for the whole family. The rain or shine afternoon event will feature paddling, talking circles, a native-american themed observance plus a silent auction for used kayaks. The evening portion will feature storytelling, potluck dishes, drumming, a bonfire and storytelling under a full harvest moon! Like all our events, donations are optional and very much appreciated--but not mandatory. Come help us celebrate another busy season of Patuxent protection, heritage and conservation.
