National Kids to Parks Day Scavenger Hunt: This is designed to allow the whole family, but especially the kids, to get out and discover new things at the park. The list will be available at both the Contact Station and Visitor Center. Pick up a list and start searching! We will not be asking you to collect items, but simply to take the sheet and write what and where you found the item. Bring your completed list in to receive a free wagon ride that evening! The wagon ride does require pre-registration, so please sign-up as early as possible for the wagon so we'll have your space reserved. (Self-guided)
All programs are free. More details.http://www.dcr.virginia.gov/state-parks/park-event-info?id=JR170039-00
