Chesapeake Bay Maritime Museum Environmental Film Fest

Screen films, visit the historic bugeye Edna E. Lockwood,chat with the filmmakers, and feast on crab cakes and Smith Island cake.

Overview:

The waterfront Chesapeake Bay Maritime Museum will host a day of environmental films during the 2018 Chesapeake Film Festival.  Participants will screen films; visit the historic bugeye Edna E. Lockwood and talk to the shipwrights who restored her; chat with the filmmakers, and feast on world-famous crab cakes and multi-layer cakes from Smith Island. Films include An Island Out of Time, Tidewater, Current Revolution, and Edna E. Lockwood: Bottoms Up!

Tickets range from $12 for a single session to $40 for the day, with discounts available for youth under 21 and seniors over 62.  For more information and tickets, please visit chesapeakefilmfestival.com.
