Overview:

Dr. Leroy Hopkins will share the rich history of the Underground Railroad in Lancaster County while highlighting the better known and lesser known African Americans who played a vital role in the struggle to end slavery.

Dr. Leroy Hopkins is a Professor Emeritus of German from Millersville University where he taught from 1979-2015. He has written and published articles on local African American history. Tickets Available: $10 per lecture or $25 for the series.
